そんなイメージのフルアコをとダブルカッタウェイモデルと共に企画。そのイメージをサウンドに変貌させるには、ハムバッキングP.U.よりは、シングルコイルの方が表現しやすい故にシングルコイルP.U.バージョンとしている。そしてボディ幅もオーソドックスな16"とし、薄胴ボディである。ボディ内部構 造はDetroit Oneと同様なKING SNAKE独自な構造となっている。イナタい音を基軸に構成されたマテリアル故に、サウンドの芯を与えるべく独自なミドル感を持ちながらも、ふくよかなアコースティック感をも持ち合わせ、アンプリファイドされたそのサウンドは、クリーン時では太く、クランチ時では芯がぼやける事無くロックする。ビートの効いた音楽にベストマッチするサウンドとなっている。ドラミングが激しいビートの利いたアンサンブル内でもノンストレスにて響き、ジャズ、ブルースはもちろんの事、ブルース・ロック、R&R、カントリー・ロック、フォーク・ロック等ビートニクな全ての音楽にベストマッチするだろう。
BEAT : Hitting rhythmically and continuously.
We planned to create a full acoustic guitar with this image, along with a double cutaway model. In order to transform this image into a sound, the single coil P.U. version was chosen because it is easier to express with a single coil than with a humbucking P.U. The width of the body is the traditional 16", and the body is thin. The internal structure of the body is unique to KING SNAKE, similar to the Detroit One. Because the material is based on the sound of the guitar, it has a unique middle sound to give the core of the sound, but it also has a full acoustic feel, and the amplified sound is thick when clean and locks in the core when crunching. The sound is best suited for music with a strong beat. It is a perfect match for all kinds of beatnik music such as jazz, blues, blues rock, R&R, country rock, and folk rock.
「Detroit One Block」
アンプに通した時のトーン、音量を第一に考えてデザインし、フルアコースティック構造ながらも、サウンドの芯とサスティーンを得る為に、ブリッジの裏側に当たる位置に15mmの分厚いスプルース材を施してある（幅80mm長さ70㎜）。これにより通常のフルアコでは得る事の出来ない独特なサスティーンと良い意味でのコンプ感を伴うサウンドの腰の強さが増し、クランチに歪ませた設定でも十分に対応出来る。言い換えるならば、セミアコとフルアコの中間的なころ合いの良いところに収めたサウンドである。

The Detroit One Block is designed with the tone and volume when played through an amp in mind. 15mm of thick spruce wood (80mm wide and 70mm long) is applied to the back side of the bridge in order to obtain the core and sustain of the sound despite the fully hollow construction. This gives the guitar a unique sustain that you can't get from a normal fully hollow guitar, and a good sense of comp. In other words, the sound is somewhere between a semi-ahollow and a fully hollow. (*Photo is of Detroit One)
独自の極薄ニトロセルロース・ラッカー仕上げ
ヴィンテージ・ギターと同様の「ニトロセルロース・ラッカー」を下地より使用。現在ポピュラーなポリエステルに比べ、塗装の厚さを約1/3以下の薄さで仕上げられるため、各々のモデルにふさわしく構築されたボディ、ネックの持つ「木の鳴り」をダイレクトに響かせ、見た目もワイルドかつ高級感漂うKING SNAKE独自の質感を与えている。
Nitrocellulose lacquer, the same as used on vintage guitars, is used from the base coat. Compared to polyester, which is popular today, the thickness of the coating is less than 1/3, allowing the body and neck of each model to resonate directly with the sound of the wood, and giving the guitar a wild and luxurious look and feel unique to KING SNAKE.
「3.5mmと言う薄いTOP & Back が生む切れ味。」
合 板トップ&バック材は、メイプル / スプルース / メイプルの３プライ。音の立ち上がりの早さとライブ時音量まで上げた際にキレとうねる感じを出す為に薄く仕上げられている。メイプル / スプルース / メイプルの構成は、昔の175等と同じだが、例えば50年代175は、メイプル（約1mm） / スプルース（約3mm） / メイプル（約1mm）とトータル約5mm厚。Curtisはメイプル(1mm) / スプルース(1.5mm） / メイプル（1mm）とトータル3.5mm厚。同じ材構造だが厚みが違うため、レスポンスが違う。この薄さとDetroit One Blockと相まって、サウンドに芯を持ち、アタックの強いプレイにおいても十分に対応してくれる。「超軽量」と言うところもプレイヤーには魅力であろ う。
The top and back are made of 3-ply maple, spruce, and maple, and are thinly finished to give a quick rise to the sound and a crisp, undulating feel when the volume is turned up to live. The composition of maple/spruce/maple is the same as the old 175, for example, the 50's 175 was maple (1mm) / spruce (3mm) / maple (1mm) for a total thickness of 5mm, while the Detroit Jazz was maple (1mm) / spruce (1.5mm) / maple (1mm) for a total thickness of 3.5mm. The Curtis is maple (1mm) / spruce (1.5mm) / maple (1mm) for a total thickness of 3.5mm. It's the same material construction, but the thickness is different, so the response is different. This thinness, combined with the Detroit One Block, gives it a core sound that can handle even the most aggressive playing. The "ultra-light weight" of the Detroit One Block is also an attraction for players.
Custom Pinned Bridge & Tailpiece
ボディ側に突起された2 点のピンの上にブリッジを搭載する事で、フルアコ使用時に良く有る強く弾いたブリッジがズレてチューニングが一気に狂ってしまうと言う事を回避している。 これによりストレス無くプレイに集中出来る。Tune-Oタイプで無くローズウッド製であるのは、サウンド面での枯れたニュアンスを整える為である。また、カスタムされたテイルピースを使用。弦をホールドする部分を真鍮製の質量の高いモノを加工し作成され、それにより弦の振動を太くする事に貢献している。
The bridge is mounted on top of two pins protruding from the side of the body to avoid the common problem of the bridge shifting when played hard, which can cause the guitar to go out of tune. The reason why the guitar is made of rosewood instead of Tune-O type is to give it a dead nuance in the sound. A custom tailpiece is also used. The tailpiece is made of high-mass brass to hold the strings, which contributes to thicker string vibration.

ヴィンテージP-90を基本にポジションに合わせてアレンジ。低音がブーミーに成りすぎないようネックピックアップはワイヤーのターン数を抑え、テンションを緩めにハンドワイヤリングしマグネットにはアルニコ5を採用。ブリッジピックアップは、アルニコ4を採用し、ネックと比べワイヤーのターン数をやや多めにテンションを緩めにワインド。キレがありながらもミッド＆ローが力強いトーンとなるようにしている。いずれのピックアップもハウリング対策に よりワックスポッテッド仕様となっている。
It is based on the vintage P-90 and arranged to fit the position. The neck pickup is hand wired with less turns of wire and looser tension to keep the bass from being too boomy, and the magnet is Alnico 5. The bridge pickup uses an Alnico 4, with a slightly higher number of wire turns and looser tension than the neck pickup. The bridge pickup uses an Alnico 4 pickup with a slightly higher number of wire turns and a looser tension wind compared to the neck pickup for a crisp, yet powerful mid and low tone. Both pickups are wax spotted to prevent feedback.

Curtisを王道サイズである85mmボディ厚としたDeep Bodyモデルである。
ボディ厚以外のスペックはCurtisと同じであるが、生鳴り感をもう少し与えるべくMuddyと同じDetroit Jazz Block搭載としている。そしてセットアップ弦は0.12-0.52サイズの太めな弦としている。それによりふくよかな鳴りがより強調されソロからアンサンブルが小編成なブルース、オールド・ジャズなどアコースティカルなサウンドから、AOR的なサウンドまで幅広く対応。当然、古めの音楽全般にベストマッチである。Humbucker P.U.モデルのCurtis/H Deep Bodyも有り。
Deep Body creates a deep world.
The Curtis is a deep body model with an 85mm body thickness.The rest of the specs are the same as the Curtis, but the Detroit Jazz Block is installed to give it a bit more of a raw sound. The setup strings are thicker, 0.12-0.52 size strings. This gives it a fuller sound and makes it suitable for a wide range of sounds, from acoustic sounds such as blues and old jazz to AOR-like sounds for solos and ensembles. The Humbucker P.U. model Curtis/H Deep Body is also available.
「Detroit Jazz Block」搭載
Deep Bodyには、よりアコースティカルさを与えるためにDetroit Jazz Blockを搭載。アンプに通した時のトーン、音量を第一に考えてデザインし、フルアコースティック構造ながらも、サウンドの芯とサスティーンを得る為に、ブリッジの裏側に当たる位置に15mmの分厚いスプルース材を施してある（幅80mm長さ70㎜）。そのブロックにさらに切り込みを入れる事で質量を少し減らし、サウンドの芯を持ちながらも弦をヒットした際の出音の腰の強さを若干軽減さ せ，ジャズらしい立ち上がり感となっている。これによりジャズ・ギターにおいての弱点であるハウリング問題、低音のもたつき感等全て解消され使い勝手の良 いフルアコへと仕上がっている。
The Deep Body is equipped with the Detroit Jazz Block to give it a more acoustic feel. It is designed with the tone and volume when played through an amp in mind, and even though it is a fully hollow construction, a 15mm thick spruce block (80mm wide and 70mm long) is applied to the back side of the bridge in order to obtain the core and sustain of the sound. By cutting further into the block, the mass is reduced a little, and the sound core is maintained, but the strength of the sound when the strings are hit is slightly reduced, resulting in a jazz-like rise. The result is a fully hollow guitar that is easy to use, with all the weaknesses of jazz guitars such as feedback problems and a stuttering bass sound.
3.0kgを切る2.7kg台という軽量化の実現」
Body容量が大きいDeep Bodyながらも、3.0kgを切る2.7kg台の軽量化。計量というプレイにおいてのストレスフリーに加え、軽量ボディにベストマッチする太いサウンドを持つP.U.を搭載することでサウンド面でもストレスフルさは魅力であろう。
Even though the Deep Body has a large body capacity, it weighs less than 3.0kg and is in the 2.7kg range. In addition to the stress-free weighing, the P.U. has a thick sound that best matches the lightweight body, making it a stress-free instrument in terms of sound.

さらに、泥臭く。
Curtisの1 P.U.モデル。Muddyと命名したのは、名の通り泥っぽく。
ピックアップには、敢えてCurtisのゲインの高いブリッジ用を搭載することにより、通常の1P.U.モデルよりヴォリュームでの可変幅があり、ヴォリュームを少し絞っても芯を持ちながらトーンがアコースティカルに響く。フロントP.U,だけでCurtisと比べると、Muddyの方は弦のゲージをワンサイズ太いセットにしたように感じであり、プレーン弦のトーンが中域に若干寄っており、太く感じる。まさに泥臭いトーンを持ち合わせている。これらはピックアップだけの影響ではなく、ブリッジ部に穴が空いてないと言う事でのボディ鳴りが増しているのと、KING SNAKEの全てに採用してるブリッジ下部のDetroit Blockがより相まってる効果であろう。このサウンドは、40年代～50初期の古めのブルース、ジャズを演じる方にはベストマッチ。もう少し60年代位まで幅広く演りたいと言う方には、2 P.U.モデルCurtisがオススメ。
Even muddier.
The Curtis 1 P.U. model is named Muddy because it's as muddy as the name implies.
The pickups are Curtis bridge pickups with high gain, so there is more variable range at the volume than the regular 1 P.U. model, and the tone sounds acoustic even when the volume is turned down a bit. When compared to the Curtis with just the front P.U., the Muddy is like having a larger gauge set of strings, and the tone of the plain strings is a bit thicker in the midrange. It has a very muddy tone. This is not only the effect of the pickups, but also the effect of the Detroit Block at the bottom of the bridge, which is used on all KING SNAKEs, as well as the increased body resonance due to the fact that there are no holes in the bridge. This sound is the best match for those who play old blues and jazz from the 40s to early 50s. If you want to play a wider range of music from the 60's, I recommend the 2 P.U. model Curtis.
