コンセプト：「 グレートスピリットの呻き声」
 

ネイティブ・アメリカンの世界ではグレートスピリットが熊の姿で現れると言われ、ベアクロウ（熊の爪）を身に着けることで病気や災いのお守りにしていたそう。一方、国内へ向けるとアイヌの人々は古くから、ヒグマは敬虔（けいけん）な心を持ち崇高であり「キムンカムイ（山の神）」と呼び、先祖代々重んじられてきたそう。そのグレイトスピリット、キンカムイと呼ばれる熊という崇高な存在をコンセプトとし、その神聖なる熊の圧倒的に野太く、空気を切り裂くかのように低く歪んだうめき声をイメージし開発。基本的なサウンドコンセプトは先に発売したDetroit Fourに似るが、さらにミドルに寄せたサウンドが呻くようにとボディサイズをワンサイズ小さい16”ボディ、ミディアム・スケールとすることで適度に低域が絞られ、そこに独自で開発した切削によるアルミニウム製ブリッジサドルを搭載し音が全面に出てくる感じを与え、トーンはほんのりと柔らかさを持ったヴィンテージ・トーンである。例えるならVintage Ampの程度の良いオールド・アルニコ・スピーカーの頃合いである。ホローボディながらもトップ裏のDetroit Blockとアルミニウムトーンが相まってのことであり、ブリッジ部に搭載されたピックアップながらもトーンの幅広さが絶妙である。ブリッジ部に並列された独自のミニ・ハムバッカーP.U.がそのトーンをアウトプットし、スイッチONにした時の直列で繋がれるデュアルハムバッカーサウンドがさらに呻きを与え、Bluesに留まらず、ハードなR&Rにも対応する。

そして、熊は単独で生きる。

その熊如く、今の浮世の流行り廃りに従属する音楽性ではない「孤高なる」音楽、同調圧力に屈しない「個」を大事にするプレイヤーのツールとなり、大胆不敵に弾いて頂きたい。

Concept: " Great Spirit Grunts "
In the Native American world, the Great Spirit is said to appear in the form of a bear, and people used to wear a bear claw as a talisman against illness and misfortune. On the other hand, the Ainu people in Japan have long revered the brown bear, calling it "kimu kamui (mountain god)" because of its pious heart and noble spirit, and have respected it from generation to generation. The concept of this great spirit, the sublime existence of the bear called "kinkamui," and the development of the song was inspired by the overwhelmingly wild, low, distorted moaning voice of the sacred bear, as if it were cutting through the air. The basic sound concept is similar to that of the previously released Detroit Four, but the low frequency range has been moderately narrowed by making the body size one size smaller (16" body) and using a medium scale so that it can moan with a sound closer to the middle, and the originally developed The tone is a vintage tone with a hint of softness. The tone is slightly soft vintage tone. It is like a good old alnico speaker of Vintage Amp. The Detroit Block on the backside of the top and the aluminum tone, combined with the hollowbody, give it an exquisite tonal range even though the pickups are mounted in the bridge. The unique mini humbucker P.U. parallel to the bridge section outputs that tone, and the dual humbucker sound connected in series when the switch is turned on gives it even more grunt, making it suitable not only for Blues, but also for hard R&R.

And the bear lives alone.
